This website is published by the Oceanographic Institute, Prince Albert I of Monaco Foundation (the “Publisher”), in partnership with the Monaco Government and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (the “Partners”), within the framework of the Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF).
The Organisers make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information provided on the Site is accurate, up to date and complete. However, such information is provided for general information purposes only and may be modified at any time without prior notice.
The information relating to the BEFF event (programme, speakers, schedule) is subject to change.
The Organisers do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or relevance of the content and shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions or inaccuracies.
All content is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranty, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or non-infringement of third-party rights.
The Organisers reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or part of the Site without notice.
The use of the Site is at the user’s own risk. Subject to applicable law, the Organisers shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of opportunity, reputational damage or financial loss resulting from:
- the use or inability to use the Site;
- access to or use of third-party websites via links available on the Site;
- any security breach, including but not limited to hacking or the presence of viruses or other harmful elements.
The Organisers do not guarantee that the Site, its servers or electronic communications are free from interruptions, errors or malicious components.
Users are responsible for taking all appropriate measures to protect their own data, systems and equipment.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. The Organisers have no control over such websites and disclaim any responsibility for their content, availability or practices.
Documents made available for download on the Site are provided for information purposes only and may be updated or modified without notice. The Organisers do not guarantee their completeness or accuracy.
The Organisers shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of their obligations resulting from events beyond their reasonable control, including force majeure. Nothing in this clause shall exclude liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
The Organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Users agree to use the Site in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and not to interfere with its proper functioning or security.
The content of the Site is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be reproduced or used without prior authorization, except as otherwise provided.
By attending the BEFF, participants are informed that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event for communication purposes relating to the BEFF.
Such recordings may be used by the Publisher on its own communication channels (including website and social media), provided that participants are not individually singled out without their prior consent.
Any use of a participant’s image in a focused or promotional manner, or any transmission to partners for their own communication purposes, shall be subject to the participant’s prior written consent.
Participants may object at any time to the use of their image by contacting donneespersonnelles@oceano.org .
These Terms of Use are governed by Monaco law, and any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Monaco.
